Testimonials

In 2004, I took my first teacher training with Nikki. It was also her first teacher training. We were the grateful guinea pigs with whom Nikki began to hone her craft, not just for teaching, but for teaching teachers. Nikki blends a beautiful integration of alignment precision steeped in yoga philosophy with a strong emphasis on the inner journey of pranayama and meditation. Nikki embodied a clear, articulate, and practical approach to yoga. Now almost 20 years later, her wisdom continues to grow and deepen through her current offerings. She is the quintessential teacher’s teacher. She knows what it takes to commit her life path to yoga from daily practice to nutrition, to the application of the yoga sutras in everyday living. These are things she instilled in us early. I went on to teach public classes in Marin for 13 years with a foundation in mindfulness-based flow and a strong emphasis on yoga psychology. Nikki helped to create a solid foundation that was never lost on me every time I unrolled my mat in front of my class. Her teachings are holistic, never just pose-focused, and prepared me as a teacher to offer this back to my students. A great teacher trainer is really the gift that keeps on giving. Nikki is exactly that.
