5 Day Intensive for Teachers & Dedicated Yogis

This 5-day residential intensive will break down the foundational postures of yoga through focused, workshop style practices covering:

  • Tadasana – blueprint alignment – common compensation patterns in key poses.
  • Standing postures – understanding anatomy and adjusting the poses appropriately
  • Actions of the hips and shoulders
  • Twists and core work
  • Backbends – extending the spine evenly
  • Forward bends – hip flexion and pelvic movements
  • Inversions – how to practice safely or alternative poses
  • Restorative yoga & meditation for deep rest & rejuvenation

Whether you are a yoga teacher or a dedicated practitioner wanting more, this intensive will reinvigorate your practice and help you pinpoint misalignments, imbalances and blind spots in your practice, particularly after two years of at home practice.

This training includes 22 hours of Yoga Alliance continuing education for Yoga Teacher. You do not need to be a yoga teacher to join!

Schedule:

Wednesday

  • 3pm check in
  • 4 – 5:30pm Practice- Tadasana
  • 5:30 – 6:30pm Dinner
  • 6:30 – 8pm Opening Circle, Lecture, Meditation

Thursday

  • 7:30 – 8am Ratna Ling Meditation
  • 8 – 9am Breakfast
  • 9:30am – 12pm Practice- Tadasana in Surya Namaskar (plank, chaturanga, down dog)
  • 1215 – 1pm Lunch
  • 1-3pm Rest, Walk, Restore
  • 3 – 5pm Practice- Tadasana in Standing Poses (lunges, warriors & more) & actions of the hips/pelvis
  • 5:30 – 6:30pm Dinner
  • 6:30 – 7:30pm Restorative Yoga, Meditation

Friday

  • 7:30 – 8am Ratna Ling Meditation
  • 8-9am Breakfast
  • 9:30am – 12pm Practice- Twists, Shoulders and Core
  • 12:15 -1pm Lunch
  • 1 – 3pm Rest, Walk, Restore
  • 3 – 5pm Practice- Forward Bends Two kinds
  • 5:30 – 6:30pm Dinner
  • 6:30 – 7:30pm Restorative Yoga, Meditation

Saturday

  • 7:30 – 8am Ratna Ling Meditation
  • 8 – 9am Breakfast
  • 9:30am – 12pm Practice- Back Bends
  • 12:15 – 1pm Lunch
  • 1 – 3pm Rest, Walk, Restore
  • 3 – 5pm Practice- Inversions & Core
  • 5:30 – 6:30pm Dinner
  • 6:30 – 7:30pm Restorative Yoga, Meditation

Sunday
